Avi has been in and out of the national side since he made his debut in the 1994 ICC Trophy in Kenya. This will be his third ICC Trophy and he played in the 2000 ECC Championships in Glasgow. A useful wicket-keeper he will be performing this important job for the first time for Israel in Toronto. He is a hard hitting, fearless middle order batsman and wonderful fielder when not keeping.
