Israel / Players
Full name David Silver
Born April 17, 1957, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Current age 52 years 220 days
Major teams Israel, Netanya
Fielding position Wicketkeeper
Despite being the veteran of the side, David continues to hold his own as the best batsman in Israel. He is an aggressive, attacking player who has stood up to the best of the bowlers over the past decade. The team will be expecting consistent scores from this quiet, reserved and well respected member of the side. Apart from his role in the top order, David is also the reserve wicket-keeper. Playing against Gibraltar in the 1998 ECC Tournament he took three superb catches behind the wicket, which, added to his 64, gave him man of the match honours.
