Yefer has been a permanent member of the side since his debut in the 1996 ECC Trophy. An aggressive opening batsman who is not scared to hit the ball, he was one of the more successful players in Malaysia, managing a few good knocks. He is also a useful seam bowler and excellent catcher close to the wicket. He is captain of the Lions Lod team, which has dominated local cricket over the past few seasons.
