Profile

Wilkin Mota is a medium-pacer and handy lower-order batsman for Mumbai. He worked his way through the age-group levels before making the senior state side in early 2004. He has since struggled to cement his place in the traditionally strong Mumbai side. One of the highlights of his career was the match against Baroda in the 2006-07 Ranji Trophy semi-finals where he made a fighting 33 to rescue Mumbai from an embarrassing 0 for 5 and also had match returns of 6 for 51. He is part of the Kings XI Punjab squad in the Indian Premier League.
