Rahul Dravid, the Bangalore Royal Challengers captain, has said it is frustrating to lose despite having good players in the squad.

"I am satisfied with my batting. I am playing well but things have not been good for us," Dravid said after Bangalore lost to Rajasthan Royals by 65 runs in Jaipur on Saturday. Dravid scored 75 runs of his side's 132 and Bangalore are at the bottom of the league with only two wins from 10 games.

"We have been putting our best effort but I felt the intensity was not there. I don't say that my decision to field was a wrong one but we didn't bowl and field well." Both Rajasthan openers - Graeme Smith and Swapnil Asnodkar - got half-centuries and the hosts lost only one wicket while posting a total of 197.

"We have been accused of trying too many things, Dravid said. "We also experimented a bit today. We sent big hitters up the order but could not fire because they [Rajasthan] bowled in the right areas." Dravid also said injuries had troubled his side. "We had some limitations with [Dale] Steyn and few others being injured. What else we could have done?"

Meanwhile Shane Warne, the Rajasthan captain, looked ahead to their next few games. "We still have an important game in Kolkata and then we have to play against Chennai," Warne said. "Next game in Kolkata will be tough because they are a good team. We can experiment after that."
