The only warm-up game that Sri Lanka were scheduled to play against the Indian Board's President's XI in Mumbai ahead of the first Test starting on November 16 in Ahmedabad has been washed out due to heavy rains and their aftermath.
Rain had ruled out play for the first two days and the match officials and captains inspected the conditions on the third, and after seeing a damp pitch decided to cancel the game. For the last two days the Sri Lankans have been having indoor net sessions to acclimatise themselves and they followed the same pattern on day three.
