50.1 to McCullum, oh, he's missed the century! A well-flighted ball from Panesar, on middle stump and McCullum misjudges the drive, it goes off his pad onto the stumps 203/6

Similar to the last delivery, angled in and seaming away, but it's a bit straighter and Cook tries to turn it through the leg side but gets an outside edge through to McCullum. 108.5 to Sidebottom, gone this time! Good bowling once more from Mills, across the left hander and leaving him as it pitches, he sends the edge through to Taylor at first slip who takes a clean catch 317/8

He fires in a straightish one which certainly keeps low, so height's not a factor, whether Strauss got an edge on it is, as he tried to work to the on side, but Umpire Taufel is happy that it was ball on pad, a hint of movement taking the ball toward off stump 148/2

94.4 to Broad, and the change has worked. Oram shapes this one in to Broad, a thick inside edge cannons into the batsman's thigh and back onto the stumps. Oram breaks the very handy seventh-wicket stand, which was worth 61 269/7

Loops one in from round the wicket, Pietersen gets well forward but it was straight and he knew from the moment it hit him low, his bat tucked behind the pad. Hawk-Eye tracked the ball to clipping leg stump, fairly high, and Umpire Bucknor's finger came straight up 152/3

74.1 to Collingwood, got him! Vettori turns one up the hill, the ball starting from just outside off, Collingwood plants his foot down the track and a thick snick is snapped tidily by Taylor at first (and only) slip 208/5

109.2 to Panesar, Panesar goes second ball! Flynn took the catch at short leg as the ball comes in from outside off, Panesar stuns his wrists forward, the ball brushes the glove and skews into the fielder's hands 318/9

111.3 to Vaughan, here it comes! Vaughan holes out going for the glory shot at deep midwicket and Vettori ends with five wickets, for the first time at Lord's, with Marshall taking the catch 319/10

23.1 to Marshall, immediately Sidebottom finds some swing with the changed ball and it surprises Marshall. Sidebottom pitched it in line, it swung back into the batsman and would probably have struck leg stump. Bucknor says yes, Sidebottom says thank goodness they changed the ball, and New Zealand are in trouble 52/2

Sidebottom fooled him with one that pitched just outside off, nipped back slightly and it's through Oram's defences and clips the very top of off stump. Great ball, it was a little mini-battle between Sidebottom and Oram. Oram has saved his team though with a great knock 252/5

20.2 to Redmond, some extra bounce now from Anderson outside off stump and Redmond, who had looked comfortable this morning, doesn't adjust. He tries to defend but gets a thick edge, high on the bat and Strauss takes a comfortable catch at first slip 47/1

He's angled it in to How, the ball straightened a fraction off the seam and How tried to whip it through midwicket, got a leading edge and it was snapped up by Cook at third slip moving to his right. Great bowling, good catch, and England are really in with a chance now 115/4

34.6 to Taylor, gone! Monty strikes in his first over, a very full ball dipping under Taylor's eyes and he's struck in line with middle.
