Terry Jenner returns to the UK next week to resume his search for wrist spin talent as part of the on-going ECB Wrist Spin development programme.

The former Australian leg spin bowler, and mentor to Shane Warne, will lead a four-day coaching course at King's College, Taunton, from Monday 13 August to Friday 17 August. In attendance will be 20 of the country's most promising young wrist spinners, aged 12-18. Two of the most promising older bowlers will subsequently be invited to travel to Australia in October to undergo two weeks' intensive training in Jenner's home town of Adelaide.

The ECB's Wrist Spin development programme was set-up four years ago. Its target is to develop a wrist spin bowler for the England team by 2007, and it aims for at least half of the 18 First Class Counties to have a contracted wrist spinner by the same year.

Graham Saville, ECB Development of Excellence Manager, said, "Developing our wrist spin bowlers is an on-going process. There's no doubt that we have some highly talented young bowlers and they will benefit hugely from being taught by Terry, the world's leading leg spin coach."
