Gloucestershire CCC Press Release
November 15, 1999
Gloucestershire County Cricket Club have today announced that Jon Lewis, their opening bowler, has signed a 3 year contract with the club.
Chief Executive Colin Sexstone says "We are delighted that Jon has committed himself to Gloucestershire for the next three years. He is absolutely central to the Club's plans to continue as a successful one day side whilst simultaneously re-building a competitive team for all competitions. Over the next three years we would expect Jon to strengthen his claims for England recognition."
Jon Lewis says "I really enjoy playing at Gloucestershire and am pleased to commit myself to a Club hungry for further success. Hopefully this will further my ambition to play for England."
