David Brown joins Glamorgan

David Brown, the former Gloucestershire allrounder, has signed a two-year deal with Glamorgan.

"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge at Glamorgan," Brown said. "I'm impressed by the club's ambition and I'm confident I can help them achieve it. There is a great combination of young and older talent in the dressing room and I can't wait to be part of it."

Matthew Maynard, Glamorgan's director of cricket, said he had been impressed with what he'd seen of Brown. "David is a talented young player who has made some impressive contributions against Glamorgan, and other counties, in both first and second XI games in recent seasons."
