Warwickshire 144 for 4 (Poonia 49) trail Bangladesh A 252 (Ghosh 50*) by 108 runs
Scorecard
Warwickshire made decent inroads into the match on the second day, knocking over Bangladesh A for 252 and then reaching 144 for 4. They would have been happy with that situation as Bangladesh began the second of the three-day tour match on 117 for 2.
Junaid Siddique converted his overnight 49 into a half-century but fell on 50 when Tim Groenewald prompted him to give a catch to Jim Troughton. Dhiman Ghosh also made a half-century, while plenty of their team-mates got starts but could not convert, with Warwickshire's attack sharing the wickets among them.
Michael Powell and Navdeep Poonia got the home side off to a steady reply, putting on an opening stand of 62. But then Rubel Hossain's spell inflicted some damage on the top order; he ended the day with 3 for 20 from his eight overs, his bowling helping Bangladesh back into proceedings. Nazmul Hossain also took a wicket, while Poonia fell for 49.
