Play was delayed in Lucknow today following heavy rain overnight. The match finally got under way at 3pm, and England bowled through to 5.15pm, completing 36.1 overs in the session. England opening bowler Lucy Pearson bowled with pace and accuracy, taking the only wicket of the session, bowling Shinde for 29.
At the close India were 95 for one in reply to England's 314. Play is due to resume at 10.30am local time (4am GMT) tomorrow for the final day of the test match.
