A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Chris Wright struggled to make an impression on his occasioanl outings for Middlesex. He spent the 2005-06 winter playing domestic cricket in Sri Lanka. In 2007, he signed for Essex on a two-year contract after failing to get chances at Middlesex.
