Harold Dawson played 10 matches for Hampshire in 1947 and 1948. He joined Todmorden 1931, rejoining after 1949 with Paignton and Devon, retiring in 1964 with a record of 12,465 runs (28.45), with a hundred on every ground in the Lancashire League. He also played in four championship and four Worsley
Cup-winning sides. President of Todmorden and of the Lancashire League (1985 and 1986).
