Date-stamped : 01 Feb97 - 10:16 The Bermudian Cricket Board of Control has announced it's squad to play in the ICC Trophy in Malaysia after intervention by the Department of Sport and Recreation to settle a pay dispute involving Department of Education players Arnold Manders and captain Albert Steel. The Education Department was hesident to pay the teachers while they were absent from the island for the world cup qualifiing tournement, and the Department of Sport and Recreation stepped in ensuring both players would recieve full pay whilst competeing in the qualifier. This decision means that Bermuda will send their strongest team to the world cup qualifiers yet. Players leave the island on the 15th of March and are due to meet up with coach, Australian Bob Simpson in Malaysia. Contributed by Steven Bell
