just the loss of Fleming, easing themselves into a strong position

the West Indian bowlers were disappointing today, Walsh had a good
couple of spells, King was demanding at the end of the day, and
Adams and Chanderpaul contained tidily, but overall they lacked
any sort of edge
there were few signs that any degree of collapse could be
instigated by anything but inept New Zealand batting, but even
that didn't come as everyone did a job, and Sinclair did what many
