Date-stamped : 18 May94 - 10:25 NEW ZEALANDERS v LEICESTERSHIRE, One-day Match 17th May, 1994, Grace Road, Leicester. Spurred on by the bookmakers ridiculous odds for this weeks Tex- aco Trophy games against England, New Zealand find their one day form at last, completing their second comprehensive win over county opposition in under a week. Stephen Fleming again im- pressed with a rapid unbeaten 35 in just 27 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes, sharing a stand of 67 with wicket-keeper Adam Parore. Spinner Matthew Hart took 3 wickets and Danny Morrison comfirmed his return to fitness with 2 wickets in a fiery 9 over spell. The 2 match one day international series starts tomorrow (Thurs) at Edgbaston, with Graeme Hick (sore back) the only doubt for England as they prepare to better their poor recent form of not winning a one-day series for over 2 years, their last series win back in 1992 against the Pakistanis.
