17.2 to Jalaj S Saxena, appeal for caught behind and the finger has gone up, Vinay breaks the stand! It was swinging away after pitching on length outside off, DK caught it and appealed straight away after Jalaj leaned forward to drive. Looks like there was a faint edge but the batsman looks unhappy with the decision. There was a sound but replays are not 100% conclusive. 25/1

46.5 to FY Fazal, another short ball and he's into the pull too early! Gets a top edge and the ball soars high and carries only as far as the deep square leg fielder. Dragging this from outside off, when it was almost at shoulder height wouldn;t have helped either. Good contribution from Fazal. Central have more than a solid foundation to take control of this game. 160/2
1616414.00657102
100.2 to AG Murtaza, and walks back straightaway, but nothing to take away from him, that's a superb delivery making him to come on the front foot. It was on a length and induces the drive, the away movement kisses the outside edge and Karthik dives full length to his left to grab that with one hand.. 364/8
3699932.7516811300
37.5 to Jalaj S Saxena, finally Ojha gets a leg before appeal in his favour. Saxena was lunging forward as often as he could, but this time his bat was more or less hidden behind the pad. Struck in line with middle and this pitch does not have enough turn for that ball to have gone anywhere but the off stump. Saxena wasn't pleased, he thought he'd hit it. He had, but it was pad first. 128/1
65.4 to M Rawat, this was pushes quicker through air and kept low, Rawat gets forward to defend but it came back in sharply. The bounce and and the sharp turn beats his defence and found infront of the stumps.. 219/5
77.3 to AN Ghosh, this was brilliantly done by Ojha, tossed up delivery on off which turns away from outside off. Ghosh takes a big stride forward to defend and was beaten by the movement, Karthik was aware of all the happenings and removes the bails in a flash. Gosh unable to drag his foot back and was near to the line, very much straight forward decision. 259/6
14.526044.04627100
57.5 to NV Ojha, another wicket, Ojha falls cheaply, Gopal gets the ball to bounce plenty, much like Kumble did so many times, gets the top edge and the ball flies to Uthappa at slip. 195/3
59.2 to AL Menaria, umpire Anil Chaudhary had made a shocking lbw call here, the ball from Shreyas stayed low and turned a fair hit, hit Menaria low on the pad, but it struck him well outside leg and was spinning further down, Menaria has every reason to be upset to bag a duck to this sort of decision. 201/4
105.3 to IC Pandey, and that's a killer delivery for a number 10, perfect googly done the job for Pandey. Tossed it up on middle and off inducing him to get forward, plays across the line and that sneaks through the gate and knocks the middle stump out.. 397/9
105.5 to Pankaj Singh, tossed it up well outside off, Pankaj once again goes for the mighty hoick, ends up slicing that towards cover where Baba runs to his left and grabs to bring the end of Central innings.. 403/10
1334603.53505000

78.6 to PP Chawla, This is just some silly stuff from Chawla, loses his patience and steps out for a big heave. Aparajith pushes that touch quicker through air and spun away slightly beating Chawla's bat. Karthik once again very keen behind the stumps and does his job without an error. He was long way down the pitch and walks back.. 260/7

50.2 to KL Rahul, finally Rahul walks back but not before landing his team in a commanding position, back of a length which jags back in from outside off. Rahul plays across it and the movement and bounce was good enough to beat his bat which struck infront of middle and leg. Are we await for some miracles here?. 203/2
50.6 to KD Karthik, Pankaj gets him once again, another duck for Karthik, that's on a good length just around off. He thought of leaving it but checks it and tries to dab it down, that was too close to his body and ends up chopping it back onto the stumps, first time he got a pair in a first class match. I must say this is not an easy going for South from here.. 203/3
1665303.317610000
16.425933.54704300
82.1 to R Vinay Kumar, South loses another one, Murtaza strikes as Vinay goes by charging down the track. He pushes quicker through air and that was flatter and on a length, came a bit in and he misses it completely as he tried to play against the line, went quite away from his bat which shatters the stumps.. 280/7
86.6 to A Mithun, That was simply ridiculous, a tail ender way of getting out. That was bowled from round the wicket and kept it short on middle and leg, it didn't spun and straightens. He gets down on knee for a big slog but comprehensively beaten and been bowled. 290/9
88.4 to S Gopal, that was tossed up from round the wicket on middle. It was quicker through air and Gopal steps out for a mighty hoick, misses the line which knocks the middle stump. Huge chants from the Central players who won by 9 runs.. 291/10
1634422.75714100
71.2 to R Prasanna, Oh ho! This is not yet over, Jalaj just gets this right as he comes round the wicket, it was tossed up on middle and kept straight. Prasanna plays for the turn but it went the other way and was found in front of the stumps.. 252/4
75.6 to GH Vihari, Jalaj gets another important wicket, that was tossed up outside off and Vihari tries to play against the turn which lobs of the leading edge back towards the bowler. He moves to his left and dives full length to pouch that without any trouble, this is going down to wire.. 260/6
2018334.15827400
24.3 to RV Uthappa, finally Piyush able to give the breakthrough, that was quicker through air and well outside off. Uthappa gets forward for the drive and plays for the spin, that was a googly which he didn't read and end up slicing that to the left of Chawla.. 96/1
72.1 to B Aparajith, Is South throwing this away? This is superbly done by Chawla, tossed it up on middle and leg as Baba comes down the track as he tries to work it against turn to on side. This one turns away as a genuine leggie and didn't reached the pitch of the delivery, Ojha did the rest.. 252/5
85.4 to PP Ojha, Chawla strikes, comes round the wicket and that turns back in sharply for the leftie. Ojha get his bat pad together and tries to defend but been beaten by the spin and pace, found infront of the wickets, given!. 289/8
