2.2 to ML Hayden, fine bowling! good length ball rising just outside off stump, slanting across the left-hander in a tight channel, Hayden has little option but to fence at it, edging through to keeper McCullum. 17/1
4.5 to AC Gilchrist, Bond does it again! fuller and much straighter compared to the earlier lbw shout in the over, Gilchrist plays around it and umpire de Silva gives the nod, he's on his way, the replay shows it was pitching on or just outside leg, a marginal close call but umpire de Silva views it at full speed and with no tramlines. 24/2
8.4 to RT Ponting, Bond does it again! he loves playing Australia, and not for the first time is scything through their top order, good shortish rising ball outside off stump, Ponting looks to slash it away through point but is done by the extra bounce, edging it through to Fleming at first slip, the New Zealanders are over the moon at a fantastic start for the underdogs. 31/3
24.1 to DR Martyn, Bond does it yet again, breaks a threatening partnership, short lifting ball just outside off stump, Martyn fences at it, through to the keeper, there's an unanimous appeal for caught behind from the fielders and umpire de Silva raises thefinger there's no noticeable sound or deviation, but the fielding side were absolutely adamant, seems to be enough to convince umpire de Silva, further replays may prove more conclusive! nevertheless, fine bowling from Bond, his extra pace making all the difference, particularly against Martyn who had looked right at home against more stock standard medium pacers. 80/5
24.2 to GB Hogg, what a fantastic ball first up to the new batsman! Hogg doesn't know what's hit him, a fast inswinging yorker, taking flush on the toe, plumb in front, New Zealand goes delirious as umpire de Silva raises the finger, 5 wickets for Bondin an exceptional display of pace bowling, and Australia are back on the ropes. 80/6
26.3 to IJ Harvey, absolutely brilliant from Bond, the pace is just too good for the Australians today, full, fast and straight, angling into the toes before straightening off the seam, Harvey looks to play to leg but is completely deceived, middle and off rattle. 84/7
924615.11335111
12.3 to DS Lehmann, Fleming can do no wrong with his bowling changes so far, Adams returns after a poor first over and strikes a huge blow to the heart of Australia's middle order, finds the perfect line and length at last, on off stump, seams away slightly and has Lehmann creasebound, squared around and gets a thick edgeflying to Astle at third slip, who takes a fine catch falling tohis leftit was an interesting field set for Lehmann on strike too, with nosecond slip, but Astle on his own at third slip, and what perfectplacement it was too. 47/4

47.5 to MG Bevan, at last the wicket comes, a stand of 97 is broken, a slower, short ball outside off stump, Bevan is through the stroke far too early, miscues it away to extra cover, Vincent takes a fine catch diving forward, not an easy take but the damage has been done and the self-belief in the Australian camp must be well on the up again, getting themselves to what looks a pretty defendable sort of total on a niggly, slow wicket with plenty of turn. 181/8
49.1 to AJ Bichel, ullish ball angling in on off stump, Bichel walks forward, looking to loft over the top but gets a huge leading edge, flies straight up in the air, to Cairns waiting at midwicket for an easy catch. 192/9

2.3 to DL Vettori, the predictable result comes sooner or late, fuller, wider ball outside off stump, gets the pinch hitter chasing after it, regulation nick straight through to the keeper and Vettori's stay at the crease is brief. 14/1
2.6 to NJ Astle, and you better believe Australia reckon they can win this game, a big wicket, McGrath with a good length ball just leaving Astle in the channel just outside off stump, probes at it, getting a thick outside edge to Ponting who takes a fine catch diving across to his right at third slip. 14/2
6.1 to SB Styris, another one bites the dust, New Zealand doing their darndest to not only lose a won game, but do it in fine style, this time it's Styris shuffling right across his stumps, a ready invitation for the McGrath good-length ball to cut back and trap him plumb in front, no question about that one, New Zealand on the ropes early and could pay the price dearly for not going for the kill earlier in the day with Australia out for the count. 33/3
9.124254.58365010
24.5 to SP Fleming, a huge wicket, and possibly the match decider, Fleming steps inside a poor short ball heading down the leg side, had he not made contact it may well have been wided, but he gloves it, straight through to the keeper and New Zealand slump further Fleming walks, no decision from the umpire needed, the Australians continue to build in confidence, what a turnaround from a few hours ago. 102/6
26.5 to BB McCullum, gottim! Lee follows up his earlier shout for a much better delivery, very full, swinging back in, dead straight, struck on the toe and that's as plumb as plumb can be New Zealand attempting to pull off one of the great embarrassing losses by a wide margin, from a position of all but certain victory here, an incredible turnaround at Port Elizabeth they have a strong tail, but is it good enough to score more than half the required runs after its top order failed abysmally?. 104/7
26.6 to JDP Oram, the answer to the previous question is looking like a resounding 'no', first ball Oram gets a corker from around the wicket, the angle does the trick, straightens on a line of off stump, Oram plays inside it and the top of off stump is rattled. 104/8
28.2 to AR Adams, Lee reckons if Bond can do it, he can do it, and boy can he do it! a 150kph+ inswinging yorker, Adams plays all over it, about a week too late in getting the bat down, off stump knocked back out of its foundation. 108/9
30.1 to SE Bond, it's all over red rover, Lee caps it off in style, Bond tries to hook a short rising straight ball, miscues it straight back down the pitch, Lee dives forward and takes a wonderful catch just above the ground, grabs a five-wicket haul to finish things off, including a spell of 5-3 off 2.3 overs at the end, New Zealand losing their last 5 wickets for 10 runs to end up embarrassing losers by a margin of 96 runs. 112/10
631111.83312000
19.5 to L Vincent, Vincent's over of brain explosions comes to an end in fitting fashion, staying in his crease this time and wafting airily at a good length fuller ball outside off stump, only succeeds in getting a thick edge straight to Martyn at second slip just as he was starting to look comfortable at the crease he started playing crazy shots, and the end result was inevitable, low percentage cricket, and certainly not what New Zealand were after at this delicate stage of a tricky chase. 84/5
501513.00210010
14.1 to CL Cairns, Cairns holes out, wanting to up the pace again but picks the wrong delivery to try it, good length fullish ball with some width outside off stump, has Cairns going for the big lofted off drive, slices a thick outside edge which flies straight down to Lee at third man and the game continues to hang in thebalancetime for a drinks break at the fall of wicket. 66/4
