40.4 to C Green, leg stump goes back! Green moved across the crease, went down his back knee to effectively sweep Willey and doesn't make contact. He had seen a gap on the leg side. 223/6
9.305445.68315100
1.4 to TM Head, edged, taken at slip! Woakes strikes a big early blow. A back-of-a-length ball, angled across outside off, Head has a flat-footed waft at it, perhaps aiming through backward point, and it travels at waist-height to Root. 11/1
5.4 to DA Warner, high in the air, taken at midwicket! Takes on the short ball but splices it this time, it's a cutter from Woakes, excellent change. Willey has plenty of time to settle underneath it. Another big incision into an Australia batting order missing two key players. 38/2
49.1 to A Zampa, carved high into the air and this time someone is able to get underneath one, Buttler settles and takes it. Pace off from Woakes, Zampa tried to launch it down the ground. 285/9
49.3 to MA Starc, and that's that! Full outside off, Starc crunches a drive to cover on the edge of the ring. Maybe that fifth fielder helped England!. 286/10
1007027.00279030
32.6 to M Labuschagne, shout and given lbw! Marnus has called the review and looks shocked. Did look a touch high. He played across a straight delivery. Height will be the issue. He's quite a long way back. Hitting the top of leg stump! Three reds. 178/5
44.2 to PJ Cummins, spliced to midwicket! The short ball works. Cummins is cramped for room and can only offer a simple catch. 247/8
604217.00102100
43.4 to MP Stoinis, taken at deep midwicket! Livingstone strikes back. Fired in quicker and flatter, Stoinis goes for the pull and can't get the height. Great catch by Bairstow above his head with a leap. Livingstone is pumped. 241/7
402807.0094000
1003823.80341100
21.4 to SPD Smith, goes back to cut, miscued to backward point! Well held by Moeen as he tumbles forward and to his left. Rashid breaks the stand, Smith slumps on his bat in disappointment. The partnership was just beginning to look a little more fluent but Smith wasn't in control of that shot. Hung out wide, not much turn but no pace for him to work with. 113/3
23.1 to JP Inglis, reverse-smooshed... straight to backward point! Rashid picks up his second, Moeen is the catcher again - and this one was really travelling as Inglis looked for the boundary. Nailed the connection but hit it straight at the fielder in the ring for a head-height catch. Australia lose their fourth. 117/4

0.1 to JM Bairstow, length ball, swinging down leg - tickled behind first ball! Seems a muted appeal at first but Inglis was sure, Marais Erasmus just nods and raises his finger and off stalks Bairstow! Sensational start for Australia, although Starc just wears a wry smile. Brushed the face on its way through and it was well held by Inglis diving across to his left. 0/1
4.3 to JE Root, Root has a dirty, flirty dabble in the channel... and Australia review on the strength of Marnus Labuschagne's petition from the covers. Brave call, as they've already burned one. He definitely thought he heard something, though there wasn't much enthusiasm from behind the bat. But give that man Marnus a medal, because his lugholes were spot on here! Faint tickle on UltraEdge as the ball passed the bat, and Root trudges off for another cheap dismissal in the powerplay, extending his troubles early doors. England in the mire once again. 19/2
9.114925.34346120
43.2 to DJ Willey, heaved into the leg side... and taken full length by the diving Zampa! A brilliant catch in the deep ends Willey's mini-onslaught. Swung across the line and it went very high, but Zampa had a lot of work to do from fine leg. He raced in and then took off, clutching the ball in two hands before going on a victory lap. Australia two wickets away. 216/8
48.1 to AU Rashid, short ball, top-edged up the chimney! Inglis settles under the catch and it's goodnight, Ahmedabad! Pace off into the pitch again, Rashid swung for the hills but the ball went nowhere. And with that, England are officially out of contention for the semi-finals, their defence of the ODI World Cup over. 253/10
1014924.90325100
22.3 to DJ Malan, taken at long leg! Cummins makes the breakthrough. Malan trying another those whip-pulls over the on side, gets a long way under it and the top edge is well held by Head. There might have been a little bobble. No, in fact, very clean. 103/3
36.6 to LS Livingstone, short ball, taken by the flying Abbott at midwicket! Livingstone has been turned over cheaply and England are falling away here. Struck firmly on the pull but it was at a nice height as Abbott turned and threw himself to his right for a two-handed take. Scrambled seam from Cummins. 174/6
1002132.10410020
25.1 to JC Buttler, oh dear! That's horrid from Buttler. Tries to take Zampa down the ground and can only skew the lofted drive to long-off. His struggles continue. 106/4
35.3 to BA Stokes, swept to short fine leg, Zamps is Stoked! And Stokes is Zamped! Struck firmly as he got low to try and paddle it around the corner but couldn't have picked out the man better. Stokes throws up his bat aghast, that could be the final nail in England's World Cup defence (sic). 169/5
39.1 to MM Ali, Moeen, going... gone! Holes out to deep midwicket, and Australia are getting this done. Went for the slog-sweep but knew as soon as he connected that he hadn't got enough. The head dropped, as Warner settled under it. No mistake in the deep. England on their uppers, heading for another downer. 186/7
502805.60120200
403418.5084100
47.6 to CR Woakes, full toss, picks out deep square leg! Woakes gets the delivery he probably wanted, a knee-high meatball - but his connection wasn't great and Labuschagne circles around to take the catch. A valiant effort from Woakes, but the jig is probably up for England. 253/9
