3.1 to NF Holland, Excellent take from Hall, Clark strikes now. Bowls it full, gets it to shape away after inviting the drive. Hollard goes hard at it and gets a thick outside edge. It was flying away to her right but Hall sticks out her right hand and grabs it comfortably. Australia on the money.. 12/2 17.4 to JP Groves, Straight through. You miss, I hit. Full and straight on middle and leg, Groves goes for the almighty heave but gets beaten by the inward movement. Castled.. 91/8 19.5 to E Anderson, England bowled out for 99. 5.2 to SA Smale, Smale is ruled out lbw and she can't quite believe it. Was it bat first? Yes it was! Tossed up full on off, she looks to play the reverse sweep. Ends up getting it off the glove onto the back pad and the ball rolls on to make contact with the off stump. The bails don't come down but the umpire raises the finger as soon as Australia appeal for the lbw. Tough luck, much like in case of Isabella Gaze earlier today.. 28/3 5.5 to R MacDonald-Gay, Straight through. Australia are all over England here. Fires it in on a length on middle, MacDonald-Gay goes back to whip it. But the ball skids on, beats her bat and strikes middle.. 28/4 9.6 to SAE Smale, Trapped in front. No doubt about that. Slows it down and bowls it full on off and middle. She goes back deep in her crease and misses her flick. Should have been forward to that. 8.2 to C Pavely, Skied and taken easily by backward point running backwards to her left. Length ball outside off, she looks to go over the off side but ends up slicing it in the air. Smith keeps her eyes on the ball and pouches it safely.. 37/5 8.4 to GE Scrivens, Is that it for England? The big fish Scrivens is netted. It is full and around off, she takes a step forward and looks to go over long-off even though a fielder is stationed there. Moore settles under it calmly and takes it and yells out to show the worth of that wicket.. 38/6 18.5 to A Stonehouse, This time makes better contact with the slap off the length ball. And that brings about Stonehouse's downfall. Ends up midding it straight to Moore at long-off. A steady hand of 25 ends.. 95/9 | ||||||||||

Couldn't adjust in time and the ball hit middle. Scrivens is chuffed. Set batter gone, England well back in the game.. 48/4 18.4 to ME Clark, LBW appeal, umpire waits and gives it! Scrivens and Co are partying, Australia are stunned in the dugout. The keeper, Smale, was on the floor, on her back after the appeal was upheld. Roars, down heads, screams. Three-run win! 7.3 to EL Hayward, Beats the cut, hits off stump! Was on a length, pitched around leg and spun away. Hayward made room and looked to slap it. The turn did her, took the ball away from her reach. Baker has her hands in, looks like a circle, in celebration. The fielders on the off side were kept in, tempting Hayward to go for the boundary option, tactic works for England.. 34/3 12.3 to RA McKenna, Leading edge, MacDonald-Gay has another dolly, skipper goes! Was very full, McKenna tried to nurdle it across the line, towards square leg. Got it right up.. 57/6 12.6 to P Hall, Huge LBW appeal, given! Was it going down leg? Was a full ball that pitched outside off and jagged in bigly, hugely... Beat the straight drive and hit the pad and it was given, much to Baker's delight. 15.5 to AM Smith, Lofted straight... taken at long-off! Was there to be hit, got close enough to the pitch of the full ball around off. Went through with the drive but didn't connect well enough to clear the fielder. England are back into high-energy zone after a quiet bit of time. 77/8 | ||||||||||
