2.4 to Kamran Akmal, huge appeal for lbw and given! Akmal reviews it, though he was almost ready to walk back. That was pitched on a good length on middle, as the batter went for the sweep and missed it completely. That looked quicker and flatter, and seemed to go with the arm to hit his pad flush. Replays show no bat involved, and that's three reds. That would have hit the leg stump, and United get their first. 12/1
4.1 to Mohammad Hafeez, dives to his left and plucks that brilliantly! On a good length on off, with the ball perhaps coming on much later than what Hafeez expected. In the end, his push off the bottom of the bat went straight back to the bowler, who gave it his all by leaping and grabbing that well. Second wicket for Patel, as Hafeez walks back. 26/2
403117.75133210
16.4 to LA Dawson, cleaned him up! Zalmi's last hope Dawson loses his off stump to this full ball on off. He backs away slightly to make room, but the ball was bowled with rapid pace and the batter missed that completely while looking to drive toward cover. Zalmi staring at a below-par total now with only the tail left despite more than three overs remaining. 117/8
402536.25110200
5.6 to ADS Fletcher, another appeal for lbw and given. That was quick and flat on middle. The batter was perhaps not expecting it to come on so quickly, as his late defence meant his bat was behind his front pad. The ball hits him bang in front, and he cannot review that. But replays show that would have gone over the stumps. 38/3
15.4 to DJG Sammy, there's the googly, and given lbw. Pitched full on middle, and turning into the batter to be foxed by the ball turning into him. Sammy seemed to have no idea, almost remaining clueless to this wrong 'un. Zalmi lose their captain cheaply, as more trouble comes their way. The move to save one over for Shadab pays dividends for Duminy and United.. 111/6
15.5 to Umaid Asif, short of a length on off, and doesn't get up. He goes for the pull but misses, Shadab appeals for lbw but not given. United review. Again the wrong 'un, but this seemed to have much slower apart from not having bounced at all. Clearly no inside edge, and that's three reds. Decision overturned, as Shadab is on a hat-trick.. 111/7
403218.0083100
17.5 to Hasan Ali, an excellent catch at deep midwicket. Walton dives forward to collect it low as Hasan pulled that with power after Faheem pitched it short on middle and off. That catch sums up the day for both sides - United have been accurate, while Zalmi have had nothing going their way. The umpires just confirming from their TV colleague if the catch was clear, which from afar does seem that it was. The ball seemed to be dying on him and landed right into his palms, with his fingers underneath. And that is confirmed as out too.. 121/9
201306.5031000
201829.0031110
12.3 to CJ Jordan, sliced to long-off. The stable stand is finally broken by this slower ball. Jordan looked to send another one beyond the boundary, but it was on a good length on middle and off, and the lack of pace did it for the bowler. The bat slightly turns in Jordan's hands, and the pinch-hitter now has to depart. A job fairly well done, though Zalmi would have loved that run rate to go further north. 90/4
14.1 to Saad Nasim, caught and bowled off the leading edge. On a good length on off, but perhaps beaten for pace and the skiddy nature of this pitch, as his pull instead finds the edge which Hussain takes easily in front of him. Already the run rate was an issue for Zalmi, and this wicket might just pull it down further.. 101/5

13.1 to SR Patel, and strikes first ball. Samit's flick to this full ball on middle and off finds short midwicket, as Hafeez skips horizontally to his left. This is becoming interesting with every further wicket. One more, and United will sniff danger. 115/5
13.6 to Shadab Khan, stunning catch at mid-on. Short ball on off, and the pull came off the top of the bat. Jordan moved to his right, and dived to claim what could be a match-turning catch. Oh United, where have you landed? Six down all of a sudden after a big opening stand. 116/6

11.6 to Sahibzada Farhan, gets a top edge to this pull and taken at deep midwicket. Short on middle and leg, and the batter perhaps beaten by pace. All of Wahab's deliveries have been 140kph+ this over, and Sahibzada got this at 140kph again. Number four for Zalmi, who somehow keep striking each time the game feels done. 112/4
16.1 to Hussain Talat, middle stump crashed. Oh, what else is left to be seen today? Reverse-swining yorker on middle, and his attempted flick fails to find the bat. More drama now as Wahab does what he does best. 148/7
402616.50101000
9.1 to CAK Walton, chopped on! Some drama here after a solid opening stand. That was full on off and seemed to be angling in, as Walton's drive found the bottom edge. Plays without foot movement, and departs without scoring. Umaid brings out his shirt-on-face celebration, as Zalmi have another.. 97/2
302227.33102130
8.5 to L Ronchi, backs away and gives a catch to point. That was short on middle and leg, and Ronchi gave himself some room while wanting to place it much higher and wider. But he didn't get the timing and placement, and Fletcher has it easy. The first wicket for Zalmi, but maybe too little too late after a remarkable assault by Ronchi. 96/1
10.3 to JP Duminy, leading edge and taken. Jordan pitched that full on leg, and Duminy went for the flick. He instead gets a leading edge with the ball coming slowly off the pitch, and Jordan collects it low on his right. Life still left in this game? Zalmi will hope so. Three quick strikes now. 102/3
