24.6 to WIA Fernando, this could be out! What a strange shot from Fernando. It's a length ball, and probably just a little slower from Bhuvneshwar. Fernando is looking to tee off towards cow corner, but gets a top edge. It's an easy take at midwicket, once Krunal Pandya has settled himself under the ball. 124/3 47.1 to KIC Asalanka, holes out to deep midwicket. It's an offcutter, full and just outside off. Clears the front foot and slogs across the line. It's a decent connection, but that is a long rope. And he picks out substitute fielder Padikkal. But a very important knock from Asalanka here, done his prospects a favour. Looked very organised through the middle overs. 244/7 49.1 to PVD Chameera, taken at square leg. Lovely bowling this. Full slower ball, a legcutter outside off. Shuffles and looks for the slog, ends up slicing it high. Padikkal tracks it to his left and takes comfortably. 264/8 | ||||||||||

27.2 to DM de Silva, oh dear, what have you do Dhananjaya! It's a slower ball from Chahar, possibly in response to de Silva backing away yet again. Always wants to go inside out, but realises he's not quite there to the pitch of this. Tries to check his shot, but just ends up skying it to mid-off, where Dhawan takes an easy catch. 134/4 39.1 to PW Hasaranga, oh sensational delivery! Knuckle ball floating away from middle stump, almost yorker length, and he's completely deceived him. He was looking to hurriedly close the face on this, trying to keep out a full ball the way you do, but the bat was in the turf and the ball, many moments later, floated past the outside edge to hit the stumps. 194/6 | ||||||||||

13.2 to M Bhanuka, hits it straight to midwicket! Taps his helmet with the bat in disappointment, sprays sweat all over the place. He's worked so hard to set himself up for a decent score and given it away. Steps out, meets it on the full outside off, and clips it aerially. Pandey gets two hands on it this time and has Minod. 77/1 13.3 to PBB Rajapaksa, gets him first ball! Lovely delivery this! Looks like his topspinner, dipping full outside off and drawing him on the front foot defence. Which was the right option, really, he was expecting the legbreak. But this just holds its line and takes a thin edge. Kishan holds on smartly and India have two in two. Chahal on a hat-trick. 77/2 35.2 to MD Shanaka, knocks off stump! He's misjudged the length and is beaten by the legbreak. Chahal pushed this one through flatter, instead of the slow pace he's been using, and Shanaka finds this quickly going past his outside edge after pitching on middle. 4.6 to Ishan Kishan, plays on this time. Rajitha has come roaring back into this, and you have to wonder about Ishan Kishan's shot selection here! Length ball, just a touch slower than what he has delivered till now, and Kishan loses all shape in trying to cream this through the offside. Inside edge, and as soon as he hears the death rattle, his head drops. Time for Rajitha to pull out the air-punch, and for his teammates to come rub his fuzzy hair. 2.6 to PP Shaw, got 'im! The ploy of starting with spin works, as Hasaranga floats up a googly, just around off. Shaw is looking for the one that spins away, and looks to drive through the cover region. Ends up playing outside the line of that, and it just shapes back in enough to clip the top of off. Hasaranga punches the air in elation. That's a beautiful delivery to prise the door ajar for Sri Lanka. 28/1 11.6 to S Dhawan, has that got him in front? Dhawan goes back to play one that pitches around off and turns back into him. Loud appeal for leg before, but hasn't been given. Sri Lanka have reviewed. If that hasn't hit bat, that could well be out! Dhawan was way back in the crease, and even though that has hit him just above the knee roll, that would probably hit the top of the stumps. No inside edge, the replays confirm. Yes, that has hit the top of the stumps. Dhawan is disappointed, even as the Sri Lankans break out in celebration as soon as they see the confirmation on the giant screen. Massive wicket this!. 65/3 35.1 to KH Pandya, oh, and he delivers first ball! Pandya looks to cover the line of one pitching just around off. It turns back in enough, and he ends up playing inside the line of it. It just kisses the top of off, and Hasaranga sets off in celebration. Pandya is filthy with himself as he walks off. 26.6 to SA Yadav, this looks very close and it is given! SKY has reviewed. It's a length ball turning in sharply and seems like SKY was playing for the one that goes away. Bat and pad are very close together...it's pad first. He's struck in front of middle stump. Knee roll. And that is hitting leg stump! All three reds. Massive, massive wicket!
