93.6 to KH Brunt, massive appeal for lbw, not given and India review. They reckon it was pad first. If it was, this could be trouble for Brunt. Oh, hell yeah! She's gone. Makes the mistake of not committing herself fully forward and is beaten by the zip of the pitch. Replays confirm the ball struck in line and would've hit middle. Excellent review from India. . 270/7

20.3 to L Winfield-Hill, edged and gone! Great catch from Bhatia and Winfield-Hill is gone! She was dropped at first slip earlier in the morning but Bhatia makes no mistake, diving to her right. Vastrakar pitched this right up, full in the off-stump channel from wide on the crease and looking to nibble the ball away. A thick outside edge as Winfield-Hill looked to drive through the off side, and the keeper takes it one-handed. 69/1
39.2413143.331628102
48.1 to TT Beaumont, caught under the lid by Shafali! Rana's maiden Test wicket and Beaumont is gone! Outrageous catch. Verma has looked uncomfortable under the lid and in close, but this is a stunning effort. Beaumont gets a little inside edge onto the pad looking to defend, which skews up towards short leg. Verma is in front of square, at silly mid-on, and leaps forward, taking a one-handed low catch, just before it hits the turf. Brilliant effort!. 140/2
75.4 to AE Jones, hit on the back thigh pad, and umpire Watts' finger goes up! Jones reviews. Height might have been an issue, on first viewing. This spun sharply from outside off stump, on a good length, hitting Jones on the back thigh. No bat involved, confirms Ultra-Edge. Impact in line, and hitting the top of leg stump! England lose another review and Jones is gone cheaply. Two quick ones for India with the new ball right around the corner!. 236/4
81.2 to GA Elwiss, tossed up, Elwiss drives, and outside edges a low catch to slip! Drifted away from the right-hander, foxing Elwiss who was playing an expansive cover-drive, and Deepti Sharma clung onto a sharp catch, low to the ground. India have six, four of them in quick succession!. 251/6
121.2 to A Shrubsole, keeps slightly low from a length, crashing into the stumps via an under-edge as Shrubsole looks to swing into the leg side, and England have declared. England applaud Dunkley off the field, unbeaten on 74, but Shrubsole's long-handled bludgeoning after lunch has been very important too.. 396/9
2756532.401174000
72.6 to NR Sciver, loud appeal for lbw and the finger goes up as Sciver misses the sweep off the full delivery in front of the stumps, England have gone for the review. Tossed up in front of the stumps, hits Sciver right on the front toe and ball-tracking shows it's going to hit the stumps. England lose a wicket and a review. 230/3
78.1 to HC Knight, trapped on the pad from round the wicket and another one goes! Knight reviews but this looked salmon trout. Knight was deep in the crease, looking to nudge into the leg side, but was beaten by the drift which took it past her outside edge with the round-the-wicket angle. No bat involved. Pitching in line, impact in line, umpire's call on wickets, hitting the outside half of the off stump, so Knight trudges off!. 244/5
111.3 to S Ecclestone, slapped to mid-on! No reviewing this one... Pandey holds a well-struck blow at waist height, then puts her hands on her knees; Deepti furrows her brow in muted celebration. India have finally found a way through the No. 9, Ecclestone looking disconsolate as she trudges off. At least her newly acquired Test average of 34.00 is decent. 326/8

80.1 to P Vastrakar, what a beauty! This is not far away from being unplayable. Perfect seam position, angling away from the bat. Angles in from over the wicket, pitches on leg stump, then nips away sharply to kiss the top of off stump, removing a single bail. Exquisite new-ball bowling from Brunt and India are nine down!. 230/9
10.221811.74533000
81.2 to J Goswami, cleans her up! Another hooping inswinger which is too good for Goswami. Slightly tighter to the stumps, perfect seam position angled towards leg slip, and it swings late, through the gap between bat and pad as Goswami shapes to drive. 231/10
1032212.20481100
54.3 to S Mandhana, oh dear, Mandhana! What have you done? A few overs ago, her younger opening partner perished looking for a big hit. Now Mandhana looks to go over the top but is deceived by the offcutter, slices it high in the air as mid-off takes a simple catch. 179/2
1244013.33588000
48.5 to Shafali Verma, there's the wicket! Shafali looks to go for the big hit but ends up slicing it to mid-off, excellent catch running in. Shafali let the impending landmark get the better of her. Backed herself to clear the field, like she has for much of this innings, but it didn't work this time. What a fabulous, fabulous initiation into Test cricket. Massive relief for England.. 167/1
2658843.3812515100
57.2 to M Raj, was it off the bat? No says the umpire. The short leg fielder roared spontaneously. England review Replays confirm there was a bit of an inside edge onto the pad as Mithali pushed forward. India lose a fourth and are in big trouble. Inspired review from England . 183/4
61.1 to H Kaur, Sophie Ecclestone from the other end, and we have a review straightaway. struck flush on the toe. It's a massive appeal, but not given on the field. England review I think that's massively close, Harmanpreet is in trouble. Ball tracking comes back with three reds, yes, she's gone! Harmanpreet's bat hit her pad as she tried to defend. The ball drifted in, straightened and would've hit leg. Brilliant review from England. . 187/6
63.1 to T Bhatia, the collapse continues! Bhatia falls in similar fashion to Harmanpreet. Beaten by the drift, plays down the wrong line. The bat comes across, instead of coming down straight, struck on the pad and this would've crashed into the stumps. Wasted review from Bhatia. Her debut knock is shortlived.. 187/7
69.3 to S Rana, that is an absolute ripper! Pitches outside leg, rips away across the bat face to take the nick as Amy Jones takes it on the second grab. Rana was playing for the one that straightens, but this one turned and turned big. Fourth for Ecclestone. 197/8
118720.63631000
55.6 to S Pandey, chipped back to the bowler! The Pandey experiment hasn't worked. This one's turned sharply to beat Pandey in the air, she goes through with a drive but gets it back to the bowler off the inner part of the bat. India are conceding ground to England very quickly.. 179/3
58.2 to PG Raut, disastrous leave! Punam Raut has been adjudged lbw for not offering a shot. This one drifts in and skids through to hit her on the pad. India review . Ball tacking comes back to confirm this would've hit leg stump. Raut's painful stay at the crease is over and India are crumbling.. 183/5

4.3 to S Mandhana, nicked to second slip and Brunt makes the early breakthrough on the stroke of lunch! Very full, pitched right up looking to induce the drive, and Mandhana duly obliges. Wide enough for her to have left alone, but she decided to play the cover-drive. Thick outside edge, which flew to Sciver at second slip at a nice height. She gobbled up the chance, and England have one of the two big fish at the top of the order. 29/1
1325204.005810000
381011843.1017418100
29.6 to Shafali Verma, oh, dear. Oh my word! Shafali, what have you done? This was an absolute gift of a full toss, a full toss so delicious that she could've hit it wherever she pleased. And so Shafali decides to hit it downtown but ends up dragging it a little, and the long-on fielder comes in and takes an outstanding catch on the dive. Shafali didn't get any timing or power behind that and has paid the price. Dare I say she has missed a century in each innings. . 99/2
57.5 to DB Sharma, gone! Would you believe it! This evokes Shannon Gabriel vs Pakistan. Why did she do that?! Deepti has been so solid throughout this innings, defending for her life at No. 3, but saw another full ball on off stump from Ecclestone and her eyes lit up. She decided to bring out another booming slog-sweep, looking to nail it over the leg side, but could only get a bottom edge onto the base of the stumps. A moment of madness, and that changes the complexion of the match on the stroke of lunch.. 171/3
61.5 to M Raj, Ecclestone again! England are jubilant and they've got the big fish, Mithali Raj, for another low score. Quicker one, slightly full of a length, and Raj shaped to dab this down behind square on the off side. Ecclestone beat the bat, clipping the top of off stump, and Raj has made only six runs in this Test. Ecclestone has seven in the match.. 175/4
73.3 to H Kaur, as easy as they come! Harman is out playing a slog sweep. Looks to hit this hard, but gets really low in doing so, and that results in her getting a top-edge because there's extra bounce, and the wicketkeeper takes an absolute dolly. India crumbling.. 199/7
1564302.86717000
1524112.73706000
70.4 to P Vastrakar, absolute hara-kiri! I'm not sure she's going to get a pat on the back in the dressing room for her batting effort. This was an ugly hoick, she is completely deceived in flight, through with the stroke before the ball arrived and sees the bails knocked off its groove. Pooja - please, please don't go anywhere near the captain and the coach for the next hour or so at least. They're not going to have nice things to say about that shot.. 189/6
1692121.31843000
64.3 to PG Raut, would you believe it? She has pulled this straight to square leg. This was a half-tracker from Sciver outside off, Punam's eyes lit up as she tries to fetch the pull from outside off, struck it well but it was almost as if she forgot there was a fielder there. England believe. 175/5
90.2 to S Pandey, strangled down the leg side! They survived 100 balls but Pandey falls to the 101st of the partnership. Sciver goes full, down the leg side, and Pandey gets a faint tickle on it looking to work to leg. Jones, diving to her left, takes an excellent catch, and England have the eighth wicket! Sciver has had the magic touch today, bowling an immaculate spell earlier and returning to break the stand just before tea.. 240/8
