Nowhere in position to cut a ball that's coming in. Under-edged onto the stumps instead. 15/2 37.2 to J Blackwood, smart catch by the keeper! Overpitched, just outside off. Blackwood checks his drive, away from his body. Takes the edge, and Dickwella has to dive to his right to take a low catch. An entertaining innings ends prematurely. 120/4 99.1 to RRS Cornwall, length ball from Lakmal on off stump, Cornwall tried to muscle this on the up but miscues it straight to mid-off. Fairly innocuous delivery that needed a simple front foot defense, but Cornwall got a bit carried away. Was not on a driving length. The ball floated ever so gently to Vishwa to take the catch at chest height. Lakmal pumps his fists for breaking this determined stand.. 325/8 | ||||||||||

Joseph reviews Replays show that it's hit the bat and the pad at the same time. Hard to determine whether bat first or pad. But the TV umpire determined pad first, and so Joseph has to go. Good length ball on the fourth stump channel angling in toward off stump, Roach pushes at this in defense and gets a healthy edge through to Dickwella at shin height.. 351/9 111.1 to KC Brathwaite, drags on! Good length ball on fourth stump, not really the width to cut, but Brathwaite tries to force the issue with Gabriel the last man alongside. Floated this up full and wide on seventh stump, Holder reaching out a long way without much footwork for a booming cover drive and instead a thick edge flies to Thirimanne's right at chest height. He reaches across his body and takes this comfortably. There looked like a touch of drift from the overspin that took the ball a fraction away from Holder before it pitched and that was enough to produce an edge.. 171/5 | ||||||||||

A well compiled fifty comes to a close. 77/3 106.4 to P Nissanka, another short one and Nissanka once again goes for the pull. Gets a top edge and it goes right into the lap of Hayden Walsh at deep-backward square leg. It wasn't a percentage shot, so I feel he should have ducked under those bouncers. 258/9 106.6 to MVT Fernando, and that's it. Roach has wrapped up the innings here. A length ball angling in, Fernando like a typical No. 11 was looking to go towards the leg side while poking his bat at it. Gets an outside edge and a simple catch for Da Silva. 258/10 | ||||||||||

Takes the edge, and Bonner dives to his right from third slip to take a stunner! One-handed brilliance. 18/1 90.2 to RAS Lakmal, loose shot flicked to midwicket/short mid-on. Fullish length ball on fourth stump, Lakmal tried to whip this on the up but miscues it off an inside half of the bat and the ball flutters gently to Brathwaite adjacent to the non-striker for a simple catch at waist height.. 214/7 | ||||||||||

87.4 to N Dickwella, An appeal for caught-behind. Denied but West Indies belatedly opt to review it. A length ball around off, this one nips back in to find Dickwella stuck in his crease. Sneaks in through the gap between bat and pad but did it touch the bat on its way to the keeper? It definitely brushed the thigh. The UltraEdge shows there was an inside edge too before that. Dickwella walks back, Sri Lanka in trouble at 203 for 6. 203/6 97.5 to PVD Chameera, an outside edge and taken. Holder finally gets the reward for his consistency. Was a length ball, just around off stump, forcing the batsman ti play at it. Chameera looks to defend but can only manage and outside edge. Da Silva pouches a regulation catch. 231/8 | ||||||||||

29.4 to BOP Fernando, swinging in from wide of the crease. Lands outside off and comes in sharply. Defends down the wrong line, hits the front pad, and the umpire raises his finger! But Oshada reviews right away. There's no bat, but it might be a bit high and missing leg. Ball tracking, however, says that it would clip the outside of leg stump. 79.1 to DM de Silva, oh my goodness! Lapse in concentration by Dhananjaya! Blackwood just fired this in very quick and flat full on middle and off stump. Innocuous delivery in the grand scheme of things but looks like De Silva was expecting just a gently flighted lollipop and is slow getting the bat down in defense as it turns sharply from fourth stump into middle/leg. Big appeal upheld by Joel Wilson. It was turning quite sharply but De Silva doesn't even consider going for a review and replays indicate ball-tracking was turning it past leg stump! He'd have been saved had he opted for a review. Mickey Arthur is doing Mickey Arthur things on the Sri Lanka balconly. . 177/5 | ||||||||||

Campbell is having a chat with Brathwaite and belatedly opts to review it. It's clearly from the replays that he got an outside edge. UltraEdge confirms that and Campbell walks back for 10. West Indies lose a review. 14/1 43.6 to KR Mayers, angled into the pads from around the stumps, Mayers goes to pull a good length ball that doesn't bounce as high as expected and he's hit in front of middle, given out by umpire Brathwaite and Mayers calls for the review. This looks pretty out. Only doubt was on height. The ball wasn't nearly short enough to be playing that pull. Ball-tracking shows umpire's call on the height with the ball clanging the top of middle. Thin edge goes through comfortably to Dickwella.. 58/2 65.5 to KC Brathwaite, bowled 'im. Fuller around off and middle, Brathwaite was looking to flick it towards square leg but misses. It keeps a touch low also and shatters into the stumps. Brathwaite was perhaps a bit causal. He isn't happy with himself and slams his bat into the ground. 227/4 | ||||||||||
