0.3 to ADS Fletcher, Allen a magnet at backward point! Hit me ball bowled short and wide, Fletcher couldn't keep the cut down though, goes to the Patriots' best fielder at lap height. He kisses the ball after taking the catch, which doesn't get easier for his standards.. 3/1 2.2 to RRS Cornwall, same length, but this time caught at third man! Jordan drags the line two stumps wider making Cornwall reach well away from his body to have a go at this, slashes it flat toward Cottrell at third man on the rope who ranges 10 yards left and takes the catch in stride reaching forward at knee height.. 14/2 4.4 to KAR Hodge, picks out deep midwicket! Hodge wasn't satisfied with two boundaries already in the over. Charged a length ball from Jordan on off stump and creams a pull but manages to pick out one of the two men outside the ring in the Powerplay. Ottley barely had to move, taking the catch at neck height 5 yards in from the rope.. 33/3 15.2 to KOK Williams, another stunner from the keeper! Length ball outside off, and the batsman sticks his bat out trying to find some connection. Takes a thick edge, and Thomas goes full-stretched to his right. Ball sticks in Thomas' glove and that's a four-wicket haul on debut for Jordan. 100/8 | ||||||||||

14.6 to DJG Sammy, sharp take from the keeper diving to his left! Sammy says it's come off his thighs, but the decision will stand because there's no DRS. Full on middle, but going down the leg side. Sammy misses the flick, but the keeper doesn't, and while there was some connection off Sammy's body, we don't know what it touched. Cottrell brings out the salute, for whom the change of angle has worked extremely well. 99/7 | ||||||||||

5.1 to RO Cato, and strikes first ball! Frankly an awful shot by Cato. Stock legbreak on middle stump, Cato with a very casual paddle flick standing upright, didn't roll the wrists or get down to sweep properly to make sure he got on top of the ball. Emrit is waiting with his tongue wagging at fine leg, taking the catch on his knees reaching forward at shin height. It was as if Cato was oblivious there was a man at 45.. 39/4 11.5 to C de Grandhomme, the pressure builds! Full, just outside off, de Grandhomme presses forward to lift it over cover, but that's been mistimed and pops up in the air for deep cover to get under it. A smart innings comes to an end, but with so many overs remaining, de Grandhomme will be ruing the opportunity to get some more runs under his belt. 78/6 | ||||||||||

8.1 to NLTC Perera, short of a length on fifth stump, tried to whack this over mid-off but instead he skies a thick edge high over cover. Evans backpedals on the ring and takes this precisely on the 30-yard circle with palms out, fingers pointed to the sky. Not a memorable finish with the bat to Thisara's 2019 CPL.. 52/5 19.3 to GC Viljoen, sharp take at short fine leg! Back of a length on middle, and he tries to pull, but it's been edged finer than he wanted.
