Easy catch for Jonassen> Carey dragged her length back, Thimashini shimmied down to try and loft over mid off but miscued completely and sliced it up in the air, Jonassen moved forward inside the circle and took a simple catch above her head. 38/2 13.6 to AC Jayangani, overpitched on fourth stump and driven flat but straight to Lanning at extra cover tumbling backward at thigh height. Wanted to get this over the captain but didn't get the elevation. Not sure if the collision on the previous ball broke her concentration somewhat but Australia can now sniff a bit more life after ending an ominous stand.. 91/3 | ||||||||||

Similar dismissal to Chamari except to the leg side failing to get the elevation.. 101/4 16.4 to KADA Kanchana, flighted on fifth stump, slog sweeps this to deep square leg and picks out Perry five meters in from the ring. What a start for Sri Lanka. 0/1 2.5 to A Gardner, another inswinger knocks back off stump! Almost a carbon copy of Healy's! 3.2 to BL Mooney, stumped by a mile! 67kph, flighted beautifully, pitching on leg, luring Mooney down the track to drive, it spins sharply past the edge, Sanjeewani has plenty of time to take it and whip the bails off as Mooney looks back helplessly!. 10/3 17.1 to RL Haynes, third time's a charm, but maybe a bit too late for Sri Lanka. Haynes runs past one bowled with more flight wide outside off, beaten in flight and turn as this spins past.
