Hylton Ackerman, the senior coach at the Plascon Academy and a newly appointed national selector, has been appointed co-coach of the SA `A' team to tour the West Indies later this month.
Hugh Page and Shukri Conrad were originally named as co-coaches for the SA `A' tour. However, Page has withdrawn and Ackerman will now work with Conrad. The team leaves for the West Indies on Thursday 17 August.
Doug Russell, who recently stepped in as manager of the National Team to Sri Lanka, will manage the Plascon Academy team who leave on Monday 14 August for a tour of Kenya. During the tour, the Plascon Academy team will be coached by Kenny Watson and Russell Domingo.
