CricInfo sets record
Our Sports Reporter
More than two million people visited the CricInfo site to know about the results of the Wills International Cup that ended Sunday.
In collaboration with the Grameen Cyber, CricInfo, the popular cricket news host on the Net, provided extensive coverage of all eight matches of the nine-nation tourney, played at the Bangabandhu National Stadium from October 24 - November 1. Most of the visitors were from America.
David Richards, the chief executive of the International Cricket Council (ICC), revealed this at a reception yesterday. The world cricket's ruling body hosted a luncheon for the different sub-committees of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for the Wills carnival.
