* The West Indies are expected to make two changes for the first Test against Sri Lanka which starts later this week. The West Indian team sources said they will make a couple of changes from the team which won the one-off one day international on Friday, but said the final decision would be taken on the Test match eve.
The first Test which will be played from June 13 to 17 at Antigua Recreation grounds is the first ever Test to be played between the two countries in the Caribbean Islands. The second Test too has a historic value as the game to be played from June 20 to 24 at will baptise Arnos Vale in St. Vincent as the newest Test venue in the world.
* Sri Lankan vice captain Aravinda de Silva heads the latest CEAT Sri Lankan cricketer of the Year rankings. De Silva, who was the architect Sri Lanka's success in the Singer-Akai Cup in Sharjah aggregating 416 runs, had a similar show with the bat in the Pepsi Independence Cup tournament in India.
All-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya is placed second in the newest rankings issued after their one-off one day international against the West Indies.
