Surrey have announced that The Oval will host a charity Twenty20 match on July 10 in aid of the President's Earthquake Relief Fund. The match, between Pakistan take on an International XI, will raise funds for those affected by the earthquake that struck north Pakistan in October last year.

Rahul Dravid has already confirmed that he will captain the International XI team and he will be joined by Brian Lara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni as well as many other top name cricketers from around the world. Alec Stewart will manage the side.

"This is a great opportunity to see the world's biggest cricket stars while at the same time raising funds for such a worthy cause," said Paul Sheldon, Surrey's chief executive. "Raising money to help victims from the Pakistan earthquake is very important to us. It was a terrible tragedy but I'd like to think that this fundraising match might go some way in helping to speed up the recovery process.

"We were successful in raising a very significant sum last year to help the victims of the Tsunami so it would be great if we can do the same again this year."
