Major Associations XI 321 (McMillan 121, Hopkins 50) v Sri Lankans
Scorecard
Rain washed out the whole of the second day's play in Sri Lanka's warm-up match against the Major Associations XI at the Village Green in Christchurch. No play was possible on the second day, and proceedings were called off shortly after 2pm.
On the first day Craig McMillan hit a cracking century to power Major Association XI to 321. McMillan, who was dropped from the New Zealand side for the third Test against Australia, hit 11 fours and five sixes in his 121 before being finally dismissed.
The three-day match is the only practice game for the Sri Lankans before the two-Test series. The first of those matches will be played at Napier, from April 4.
