BBC Radio Solent announced today that its Saturday Summer Sportstime programme on 14 June 2003 will be broadcast "live" from Havant Park with ball-by-ball coverage of the top ECB Southern Electric Premier League match between Havant and BAT Sports.
Sportstime goes live "on air" at 1 o'clock and will feature the entire afternoon and early evening session of the clash between Havant, the 2000 and 2002 Premier champions, and BAT Sports, who lifted the title in 2001.
Kevan James, the former Hampshire left-arm all-rounder, will present the show on 999MW and 96.1 and 103.8FM.
Radio Solent has also confirmed that it will be featuring a Southern Electric Premier League match every Saturday until the start of the new soccer season in mid-August. Matches covered so far are Hampshire Academy v BAT Sports, and Bournemouth v Hampshire Academy.
