A busy international schedule of eight ODI series and up to 50 individual matches will be played between today's launch of the ICC ODI Rankings and the opening game in the 2003 Cricket World Cup in South Africa.
During that period the new ICC Rankings table will reflect the impact and outcomes of the following fixtures:
| India v West Indies: | 7 ODIs from 6 to 24 November |
| Zimbabwe v Pakistan: | 5 ODIs from 23 November to 1 December |
| South Africa v Sri Lanka | 5 ODIs from 27 November to 6 December |
| Bangladesh vWest Indies | 3 ODIs from 29 November to 3 December |
| Zimbabwe v Kenya: | 3 ODIs from 8 to 15 December |
| South Africa v Pakistan | 5 ODIS from 8 to 18 December |
| Australia, England, Sri Lanka | 14/15 ODIs
from 13 to 22 December and 9 to 27 January |
| New Zealand v India | 7 ODIs from 26 December to 14 January |
