Frances King of State Wellington Blaze and Nicola Browne of State Northern Spirit have been selected as the final two members of the CLEAR White Ferns squad to contest six One-Day Internationals against Australia in the Rosebowl series.

King (21), an all-rounder, won the Trish McKelvey Trophy as the most outstanding player at the National Under-21 Tournament over the Christmas break. She is studying accountancy at Victoria University.

Browne (18), is a right arm fast-medium bowler. She will spend this coming winter as a member of New Zealand Cricket's residential Academy at Lincoln University and she was named the Waikato Secondary Schools All-rounder Of The Year 2001.

Both players were selected after performances for New Zealand 'A' in the recent series with the Australian Youth team, a series lost 1-3.

The pair make up the final 13-strong CLEAR White Ferns squad and today join the remainder of the team already in Melbourne.

The CLEAR White Ferns will play their first tour match against Australia Youth in Melbourne tomorrow.

The first One-Day International against Australia will be played at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.

The first three matches in the Rosebowl series are played in Australia and the final three One-Day Internationals are played at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln, New Zealand.

The six-match series will be decided by a points system:

Away win - 3 points
Home win - 2 points
Tie - 1 point
No result - 1 point
Bonus Point - 1 point

A bonus point is awarded to a team that achieves a run-rate that is 1.25 times that of its opposition.

Kathryn Ramel (vice-captain)
Nicola Browne
Anna Corbin
Paula Flannery
