Hussain wins toss and bats against Sri Lanka

PERTH, Dec 20 AAP - England captain Nasser Hussain won the toss and elected to bat in the day-night cricket match against Sri Lanka at the WACA Ground today.

England was chasing its second straight win over Sri Lanka, which dropped wicketkeeper Romesh Kaluwitharana.

Fast bowler Prabath Nissanka came into the side, with Kumar Sangakkara taking up the gloves.

England's side was unchanged.

Sri Lanka: Sanath Jayasuriya (c), Mahela Jayawaredene, Marvan Atapattu, Russel Arnold, Thilin Samaraweera, Chaminda Vaas, Prabath Nissanka, Kumar Sangakkara, Jehan Mubarak, Dilhara Fernando, Pulsathi Gunaratne.

England: Nasser Hussain (c), Marcus Trescothick, Nick Knight, Ronnie Irani, Paul Collingwood, Alec Stewart, Ian Blackwell, Craig White, James Anderson, Andrew Caddick, Steve Harmison.
