ACL Cables One Day International Series

The ACL Cables One Day International Series will begin on Sunday, 4th August 2002 at the SSC, with Sri Lanka taking on Bangladesh for the ACL Cables One Day International Series Winners Trophy.
The winners of the series will also receive a sum of US dollars 3,000 from the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka. The 2nd match will be played at the same venue the next day, while the third match will be at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium on 7th August. All matches in the series are day matches.
The series is sponsored by ACL Cables Limited. The BCCSL would appreciate the tournament being referred to in the media by its official title.
Sri Lanka won the ACL Cables Test Series between the two nations on Wednesday 2-0, and received the ACL Cables Test Series Winners Trophy by courtesy of ACL Cables Limited, and US dollars 5,000 from the BCCSL. (BCCSL Media Release)
