The Board of Control of Cricket in Sri Lanka will award a prize of Sri Lankan Rupees 70,000/- to the Winning Team of the Asian Test Championship match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh an the 6th - 10th September 2001 at the SSC grounds. The loosing team will receive Sri Lankan Rupees 40,000/-.
The Man of the Match will receive an award of Sri Lankan Rupees 25,000/-, also from the BCCSL.
