Sarandeep Singh will join his fellow off spinner and Punjab stable mate Harbhajan Singh in the Indian team for the final two stops of the ongoing one-day series against Australia. Making the announcement in Indore at the end of the third one-dayer which India won by 118 runs, the selectors left out Karnataka's Sunil Joshi for Sarandeep in the only change in the 14-man squad. The remaining games are scheduled for Vishakapatnam (April 3) and Goa (April 6).

The BCCI also made it known that the same team would be retained for the Sharjah tri-series from April 8-20, in case India's participation is approved by the Government. In that eventuality, a 15th member Reetinder Sodhi will be added to the touring party.

The team: SC Ganguly (captain), SR Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, R Dravid, Robin Singh, HK Badani, V Dahiya, AB Agarkar, Javagal Srinath, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Dinesh Mongia and Sarandeep Singh.
