Sri Lanka manager released after airbase attack

Air Commodore Ajit Jayasekera requested from the Board of Control for Sri Lanka that he be temporarily released from duties as Manager of the Sri Lanka Cricket Team, due to recent attack by the terrorists on the Air force base at Katunayake.

The Interim Committee of the Board of Control for Sri Lanka has acceded to this request and appointed Mr. Rumesh Ratnayake to act as Manager of the Sri Lanka Cricket Team during Air Commodore Ajit Jayasekera's absence.
