Andre Fletcher, a hard-hitting opener from Grenada, first made his name in the Stanford 20/20 domestic competitions, but it was the million-dollar Stanford Super Series in 2008 that propelled him into the big leagues - he slammed an unbeaten 90 off 66 balls against Middlesex and a run-a-ball 32 against England in the winner-takes-all final game. Fletcher had already made his limited-overs debut for West Indies by then, but his prime opportunities came in T20 leagues around the world - the CPL, the BPL, the PSL and the BBL, but surprisingly not the IPL. One of his most memorable innings was a 49-ball 89 not out for Melbourne Stars in the 2020-21 BBL - an innings that came after a call from Brian Lara while Fletcher was in the middle of a major slump in form. In reply, to Fletcher's innings, Adelaide Strikers could only manage 68.

Fletcher is also a terrific fielder, with several gravity-defying boundary catches to his credit. He's nicknamed the "Spiceman" for his love for cooking and barbecuing.
