Tarun Nethula

Tarun Nethula is a legspinner who was born in India but has played all his professional cricket in New Zealand, where his family moved when he was 12 years old. He made his mark in his debut first-class season, in 2008-09, helping Auckland win the State Championship by finishing top of the wickets chart. In the next season, though, he was used less often, and he decided to shift to Central Districts before the 2010-11 season. He quickly became a key member of their side in all formats, and in 2012 was called up to the New Zealand squad for their limited-over series against Zimbabwe.
