Roderick Kinkead-Weekes was a wicketkeeper and tail-end batsman who made four appearances for Oxford in 1972, including in the Varsity match, and then in 1976 turned out twice more for Middlesex, answering an SOS as they experienced a keeper shortage. Unfortunately, he broke a finger in the second game, against West Indies, and that was that. He went on to become managing director of Hamersley Iron, the country's largest iron-ore producer.
