Number Crunching
2The number of times wicketkeepers from both teams have scored centuries in the same Test. Both games have involved India - against West Indies in Antigua in 2002, when Ajay Ratra and Ridley Jacobs got hundreds, and against Sri Lanka in Ahmedabad, when MS Dhoni and Prasanna Jayawardene reached the landmark.

Did you know?

Joe Denly became only the third batsman to be dismissed off the first ball of a Twenty20 international when he fell to Charl Langeveldt in the first match of the two-match series between South Africa and England. Pakistan's Kamral Akmal (against Sri Lanka) and Ashif Mulla of Canada (against Zimbabwe) are the two other batsmen to suffer this fate.

Features and Analysis

By S Rajesh
Series between Australia and West Indies used to be keenly anticipated not so long ago, but over the last 10 years the stats have been hopelessly one-sided
By Travis Basevi and George Binoy
Players who've played few Tests over a long career, and those who've played a sizeable number in a short span of time
By Steven Lynch
Captaining on debut, the highest all-out ODI score and the most lbws in an innings and match
By S Rajesh
A fantastic series against India capped what has been a fine year in ODIs for Michael Hussey; in Tests, though, it's a different story
Innings in which every batsman hit it out of the park and scored at a run a ball or better. By George Binoy
Big scores on the losing side, best Test bowling figures by leggies and slow left-armers, and out first ball in Twenty20
