After the disappointment of the rain-marred opening Test in Chittagong, the Indian team arrived in Dhaka for the second and final Test of the series, beginning on May 25. The players reached Dhaka in the morning and headed straight for the team hotel under strong security cover. Team sources have said that there would be no net practice today.

In the evening, the Indian team will attend a reception dinner organised in their honour by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Meanwhile, Anil Kumble, down with flu, was improving.

"I am feeling better," Kumble said before boarding the Dhaka-bound flight in Chittagong. He could not come into bat in the first innings in Chittagong and was indoors for a large part of the match.

The Bangladesh team arrived last night, and like the Indians, will also skip nets today.

More than 15 hours of playing time was lost in the first Test which ended in a dull draw. The second Test will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur.
