South Africa Cricket Academy retained their advantage on the second day, despite a century from Rony Talukder. Left-arm seamer Cobus Pienaar, left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj and offspinner Yaseen Vallie bagged three wickets each to bowl out Bangladesh Cricket Academy for 251 and secure a 120-run lead.
Talukder struck 17 fours and two sixes in his attacking 102 and was supported by Tanveer Haider, who contributed 69. The pair added 133 for the seventh wicket, helping their side recover from 73 for 6 but the hosts still fell short of sharing honours. South Africa Academy, in their second innings, had reached 75 for 2, extending their lead to a healthy 195 with eight wickets still in hand.
