18.5 to DPMD Jayawardene, edged and gone! Clark hits the deck on a great length, moving it expertly off the seam just that little bit and Jayawardene, poking at it tentatively, nicks through to Gilchrist 45/3

Ponting's decision to bring a man inside from the ropes at teh start of the over works to a charm, as Silva chases a short and wide delivery and slashes up and over gully, and Clarke back peddles a couple steps and holds a dolly at a sort of wide short third man 119/5

75.1 to Maharoof, bowled 'em! Symonds goes straight through Maharoof, pushing forward off the front foot and he's very late on the shot, as the ball shoots between bat and pad and knocks back the off bails! Symonds leaps in the air and the Gabba erupts 181/7

18.2 to Jayasuriya, The change works. Big wicket. Jayasuriya falls. Very good catch from Ponting at second slip. It was a length delivery, just outside the off stump, Jayasuriya pushed at it, bat slightly away from the body as he didn't quite lean forward and edged it for Ponting to lunge to his right to take a sharp catch. Jayasuriya was looking very good out there but has to go now. Pity for the visitors. 65/2

Johnson bowls short and wide, Samaraweera gets up and slaps that hard, just failing to keep it down, and Hussey intercepts a stinger, low and flying hard at him but he just stays low and cups it near his knees!
