Profile

Scott Thompson is a promising all-rounder for the Blues.

"Thommo" is a stroke making bat who bowls aggressively.

A loyal Bankstown player throughout his district career, Thompson started playing at the age of 11 for his local church under the influence of his brothers and parents.

Like all New South Welshmen he loves the SCG, but he also enjoys the challenge of bending his back and bowling quick on the WACA. Thompson also enjoys the freedom the WACA provides to play strokes.

He enjoys the goal setting aspect of cricket, and he believes that it takes "more hard work and more hard work" to become a first-class cricketer.

Thompson is the marketing executive for Kingsgrove Sports Centre, and is looking to complete his marketing degree as soon as possible.
