Profile

Kirsten Pike is a right-arm medium pace bowler and she was given her opportunity to debut for Australia in an ODI match on the 2005 tour of England, and managing to claim her first wicket for her country. During the 2006 tour of India, Pike came extremely close to been given her full Test debut, but it was decided by Australia that they would go for an extra batter to strengthen their side against a strong and powerful Indian bowling attack.Cricinfo staff September 2006
