Profile

A right-hand middle-order batsman, Keith Bradshaw played 25 times for Tasmania between 1984-85 and 1987-88 without fulfilling his early promise. In his fifth match he scored 121 against Queensland, ending the season with 419 runs at 41.90. In 1985-86 he made his second hundred, and after a moderate start found form in the closing matches to finish with 450 runs at 25.00. He spent the 1986 season in England with Sussex, although he did not make a first-team appearance. He lost his place in the Tasmania side his third season after again struggling, and made only one outing in 1987-88 which was to be his last. He retired from first-class cricket to complete his studies at the University of Tasmania and from there spent time with PriceWaterhouse and Deloitte. He was a surprising choice when named as MCC secretary and CEO in 2006.
